At
Mother Miracle, we believe that child
sponsorship is the best way to help children because
we’ve found that building a relationship with one
child and one sponsor is the most effective way to
making a difference one life at a time.
We encourage you to write letters, provide special
gifts and even visit your child – all to help create
a lasting bond between you and your sponsored child. |
WRITE
YOUR CHILD
Sponsored children love to receive correspondence
from their sponsors. Through computer or mail, the
children are eager to reply. The simplest and
fastest way to communicate with your child is
online. Just log in to “My Account”
and click on “Write Your Child.” If the child is older, the child
will have an e-mail address for you to correspond
with via our school computers. If the child is
younger, our teacher will print and translate the
letter and help the child respond. By exchanging
letters and photos with your sponsored child, one
can help build a meaningful relationship that will
be rewarding to both of you.
You may also send a letter and pictures for your
child in the mail.
Please include your full name, your child's full
name, and your child's ID number (located online in
his or her family record) on the letter and picture
to help us forward them to your child.
If you want to post mail please send to our office
in India:
Mother Miracle
A1-2nd Floor, Ganga Sthal,
Muni Ki Reti, Dist. Tehri Garhwal
Uttarakhand, India 249137
PLEASE NOTE: This is our office in India where we
receive mail and gifts for the children. Please do
not send letters or gifts for children to our
address in San Fransisco, CA. Our address in
California is strictly for receiving financial
contributions.

GIVE A GIFT
We appreciate your support and welcome gifts for the
children and our school. You can send gifts for the
school, individual gifts to your children or choose
something from our Gift Catalog. By choosing a gift
from our catalog, you ensure that the child receives
something that they need and in the proper size.
Once the item has been chosen, we will purchase it
and give it to your child with a card from you. When
the child receives their gift we will take a picture
of the child and their gift and email it to you.
"Gift Catalog".
You may also send gifts to your child in the mail
and educational supplies for our school if you
desire. School supplies like games, books and
stationary are welcome. View our Wish List to learn
about supplies needed for the school. Gifts can also
be clothing and shoes; however, there are cultural
differences to keep in mind. Clothing sizes are
often smaller for Indian children. For example, if
the child is 12 years old, send a size for a 9 year
old child in the USA. Also, please refrain from
sending the following items: strapless shirts,
dresses, plastic toys, jewelry, wood products and
metal objects.
A word of caution – years of experience have taught
us to discourage the shipment of individual packages
for the following reasons:
-
The
cost to mail a package overseas can exceed the
value of the items shipped
-
Customs or duties taxes on the package contents
can sometimes be up to an additional 100% of the
value
-
Damage or theft sometimes occurs during shipping
and/or customs
-
Due
to the extra cost involved, we cannot accept
responsibility for packages sent by sponsor
