WHAT IS SPONSORSHIP?                                                                                    
 

Sponsoring a child is a great way to help a child in need. This unique experience will allow you to connect with your sponsored child and experience first hand how your contribution directly affects the life of this deserving child. The intention of our Sponsorship Program is to connect a person who is willing to provide long term support for a needy child to help make a positive difference in their life.

 WHY SPONSOR A CHILD?                                                                                    

Sponsoring a child will give you an opportunity to build a unique one on one relationship with a child in need. As a sponsor, through regular contributions and correspondence, you will have a direct impact on a child living in poverty. Your support will help us achieve our goal to help underprivileged children become self-reliant, productive citizens of their communities.

 CONNECTING WITH YOUR CHILD                                                                          

One important aspect of our program is to make a human connection with you and your sponsored child. Your child will have only one sponsor – you! We will share your name and photos with your child in hopes to create a lasting bond between you and your sponsored child. We encourage the exchange of letters and e-mails. Sharing your culture and learning about the life of your child through regular correspondence will help to make a great difference in enhancing your relationship.

 HOW IS YOUR MONEY USED                                                                                 

We believe in providing a healthy, learning environment for children to prosper and it’s important to us that your support directly affects the children we work with. Your contributions are used on education and different programs that focus on the individual needs of the children. Monthly, we combine all the sponsorship funds to provide education, school uniforms, shoes, daily clothing, backpacks, books, school supplies, medical care and help for family emergencies. It’s our priority to ensure that the children are in good health and have the resources to lead an educated and active childhood.

 WRITE A CHILD                                                                                                     
 

Exchanging regular letters with your sponsored child is encouraged and will greatly help to build a long lasting relationship that will be rewarding to you both. Including pictures of you and your life is important for the child to get to know you. Taking five minutes to prepare a short letter will make a great difference. The simplest way to send a letter is throughout our website. Login to "My Account”, write a message and even attach a photo. You may also send a letter and pictures for your child in the mail. If your sponsored child does not read English, a teacher in our school will translate your letter and give it to the child with the original. To learn more, click "Communicating With Your Child"

 VISIT A CHILD                                                                                                       
 

Visiting your child would make a great difference for you both. Your child would love to meet their new friend and share with you about their life. Making your relationship a reality will give you a chance to connect even more with your child and learn about their life. With a visit, you can learn more about our programs and see for yourself how your sponsorship is making a difference in a child’s life.

Please plan in advance if you are intending to visit your sponsored child. Send an e-mail to info@mothermiracle.org   when you know your travel plans and our staff will be glad to arrange a visit for you. We’ll provide you with valuable information, procedures to follow during your visit, and other helpful information to assist you in your visit.
